I am an empathetic professional, having had a successful career in retail spanning over 20 years. Initially in Marks & Spencer Senior Management and subsequently as the Merchandise & Retail General Manager of Tottenham Hotspur football club, hired by Lord Sugar no less!
Following a lifestyle decision some 12 years ago, I decided to leave behind the frenetic 60 hour+ weeks, and begin working part time; firstly as a retail consultant & then as a PA to a local high-flying couple. I was supporting them on business administration, as well as taking responsibility for the smooth running of their personal lives.
As a PA for over seven years, I enjoyed making myself invaluable to the people for whom I worked.
As a real ‘people person’ with an enthusiastic and positive attitude, I am aware of the new challenges that face me, from my own family experiences as well from volunteering for local elderly residents.
I am acutely aware of the loneliness and the difficulties the elderly face trying to navigate the complexities of modern day living, be it dealing with trades people, recycling or technology.
My aim is to make my clients feel valued and to put family members minds at ease, knowing someone kind and trustworthy, who genuinely wants help make a positive impact, is there when you can’t be.
Viv has been helping me out for a few months now, and has made a big difference. I look forward to seeing her, as her enthusiasm is catching & we get on so well. She has already started to reduce my costs. Margaret Speyer, Chorleywood
Viv has been employed by us, in both a personal and business capacity for over 7 years. During this time she has provided organisational skills, managed our household maintenance and repairs, as well as our personal outgoings, including utilities and insurance and has made considerable savings as a result. She has become an important member of our family and is utterly trustworthy, reliable and a considerable asset. David & Jill Lane, Chorleywood
